Hello, is this possible with the autorun.exe? I use the autorun.exe program. Is it possible to tell the autorun program that it should start WPI with pointing to another useroptions.js file? See http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=128614 Thanks Dennis

OK. I understand ;-) Is there another solution possible? From time to time i must do installations when the desktop is up!

Great. Now my "Panagon" software works fine :-) But now i have another error. If i activate "Load desktop before starting installation" and i start WPI i see the screen with the applications and the counter (30 sec). After the counter is 0 WPI will be closed. If i start WPI again i get the message like in the picture. If i click "Abbrechen" i get the same result (counter 30 sec. -> 0 -> WPI closed). If i click "OK" WPI beginns to install the applications. If i deactivate "Load desktop before starting installation" and i start WPI all applications will be install after the 30 sec. Is this a bug?

Hello, i have a problem with WPI v. 7.3.0 (beta). I install "Panagon Filenet IDM 4.0.0" and after that, i make a reboot an then WPI install "Panagon Filenet IDM 4.0.1 (Update)". You can see it in the Upload. The reboot and the installation works fine. My problem: The software configures something after login but WPI starts before and then the software can't configure that. Is it possible to start WPI after a reboot e .g. after 15 sec.? Or have someone another idea? Thanks Dennis config.js

I do another test on a XP SP2 machine. On this machine it works fine. Very strange........any ideas?

OK. I try it with "MSI-Installer 3.1" and ".NetFX 2.0". I put a "reboot 3" after the "MSI-Installer 3.1" (see config.js and logfile). The machine reboots and after login i get the same error above. If i click "Ja" the error in the the picture comes. If i click "Ja" again nothing happens. In the Task Manager i see the process "mshta.exe". If i kill this process WPI is closed and i see my desktop. My machine is a fresh clean XP SP3 IE7 workstation! Something is there wrong :-( WPI_Log_2009.01.07_15.28.49.txt config.js

OK. If i take the "reboot 3" from WPI 7.2.1, WPI make this command "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe" /r /f /t 0 3 But with V. 7.3.0 (beta) the reboot works fine. But after the reboot, i get this error (see in the attachment). If i click "Ja" nothing happens........ The logfile is also in the attachment....... Thanks for a solution. Another error. I have installed Panagon Filenet IDM 4.0.0 and then, i make a reboot with the command "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe" /r /f /t 3. I see the window like in the attachment and after 3 sec. the station reboots. But before rebooting WPI try to install Panagon Filenet IDM 4.0.1 (Update)!!! How can i resolve that? I found the error. If i type "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe" /r /f /t 0 3 i get the syntax window. But if i type "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe" /r /f /t 3 without the 0 it works. Is there a bug?

Hello and a good new year. I try it and make the program not reboot after install. I add a {REBOOT} to Command 2. But WPI doesn't make a reboot (see the jpg file). In the attachment is also my config.js and the log file. What can i do? WPI_Log_2009.01.02_09.56.32.txt config.js

OK. The error comes after the reboot. OK. It's no problem to do not make the program the reboot. I add a reboot to command 2 and try it. What is the core.rar for a file? I'm back in office at 05.01.09 and then i try it and post the solution. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

@johnhc I do an automatic install of Panagon Filenet 4.0.0 with AutoIt ;-) But the installation of Filenet is simple. The Software need a restart. But is this possible http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=127467 ???

OK. Thats my log. I think i found the error. WPI installs "Panagon Filenet IDM 4.0.0". After that, the Softwareinstall makes automatically an reboot. Shortly before the restart WPI try to install "Panagon Filenet IDM 4.0.1 (Update)" and aborts. How can i resolve that? I must reach that "Panagon Filenet IDM 4.0.1 (Update)" cleanly installes after the restart. WPI_Log_2008.12.17_11.20.37.txt

Hello, i have a problem with V. 7.2.0. I try to enter this command: msiexec.exe /i "%wpipath%\Install\eTrustc\iGateway_42_win32.msi" CMDLINE=ITM ADDLOCAL=iGateway,Spin INSTALLDIR="C:\PROGRAMME\CA\SharedComponents\iTechnology" /qn but WPI cuts it after iGateway. I convert this from V. 7.1.1 and with this Version it works fine. Does someone have a solution? Thanks Dennis

Thanks. The useroptions.js is for the settings in the Option Menü. The config.js is for the settings in the "Configuration" Menü. And the windowoption.js???
