i've done every thing to make my windows xp activated once it get installed but failed :S:S i searched alot and did every thing google says no luck at all i have now 2 files called xx.bat and xx.hiv the xx.bat calling the xx.hiv ! now i did every thing to call that xx.hiv to make the windows activated during boot or before logon but never succeed they working manually ...when i run the xx.bat at windows manually it says windows activation succesfully and every thing going fine i want to run it at windows installation ..... any idea to make it run ? thos are the files to inspect them first one change it from xx.txt to xx.bat second one change it to xx.hiv xx.txt xx.doc

ok i want to make my system like regular windows xp i mean when u download xp from net it working fine right ? u can access its shares without user and pass prompt right ? so i want to make my xp like regular OEM xp cuz maybe something on my system is miss configured the right way can u guide me ? my xp main account is Administrator and no users else i didnt' create any user account any idea's ?

i have xp installed on my system and when i share any folder and some one want to access my pc to view shares he get prompt user and pass require to access my pc over the network and i didn't put in user or pass or anything :S: is there any solving for this ?

when any one on my network trying to access my pc shares that i already shared it asks for user and password i tried to change my Administrator Group from Administrator to Standard user like this and tried to uncheck the user and pass require for accessing this pc like this : and it asked for logoff to activate this 2 options espically the 1st one and after logging off i opened it again nothing happend it turned back to the old one :S:S and still users can't access my pc shares any idea or anyone knows why it need user and password to access my pc

no no look i will explain this version of xp that has IE7 is already Nlited be4 but just 1 time i dont want to edit it again with nlite the windows after nlite was so good really but now when i just edit the theme inside the $$ folder only and the winint file and make the iso again with cd-image the IE7 problem appear although i didn't touch anything else just the theme and created the iso again :S

ya ya i always do this way creating iso with cd-image and then burn with nero with image burn and choose the iso location and it works fine last thing to say plz if u can help check my IE7 problem thread :S

now i want to create the iso file of this cd i use cd image is it good for not make the files inside corrupted or anything

when i installed my previous copy of unattened windows its cool but after i extracted the cd content and then i just added new theme and created the iso again thats all no big deal but the new copy with the new theme is when i run IE7 some times when i press over link the page doesn't open just nothing happen just nothing i got this problem in my browser plz if anyone know the reason tell me and how to fix it via registry ,,,so i can add the reg fixed line to my $OEM$ to make new copy of this windows

i have question and problem : when i created my nlite iso cd : after burn it its extracted on the cd right ? ok now i put the cd in my cd rom and i c the extraced xp cd content like $OEM$ I356 etc... ok the reg files inside the $OEM$ right ?? now i want to add some reg commands and values at that reg file inside the $OEM$ its no prob easy but after i did that and create the new iso with cdimage the reg commands i added not activated in the new windows how can i do that the same way without nlite and activate those commands ??

bytheway John its global problem from microsoft i found in google all talking about it so its not from the registry here's the solution and it worked for me just add to the registry this string : [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main] ‎"RunOnceHasShown"=dword:00000001 "RunOnceComplete"=dword:00000001 or if they already exist edit the RunOnceHasShown value from 0 to 1 and same for RunOnceComplete i did it and it working now it was so simple

at the first post u just asked to my nlite session and the reg files and i posted them all wat else u need so i can provide ??

i have issue : i have my xp cd files copied to my drive like D:\xpcd ok now i want to change the theme to my current theme file like Royale.theme and the wallpaper to mycurrentwallpaper.png without nlite i just want to edit the cd files is this the right way : to download the theme files from internet and put them at the cd directory like this D:\xpcd\$OEM$\$$\Resources\Themes\Royale.theme and copied my new wallpaper to D:\xpcd\$OEM$\$$\Resources\Themes\Web\Wallpaper\mycurrentwallpaper.png ok what now i edited the .theme file to change the path of the wallpaper to that path up and in the winnt.sif i edited also the default theme and the default wallapaper to my current theme and my current wallpaper like this : CustomDefaultThemeFile="%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\Royale.theme" CustomDefaultWallpaperFile=%WinDir%\Resources\Themes\Web\Wallpaper\mycurrentwallpaper.png it should work now but after i install the windows the wallpaper worked only but the theme didn't work i find at desktop classic taskbar and classic theme not even default xp theme ..............any ideas ??

i think maybe ur way is right but can u guide me how to add this lines to reg ??? i mean to my .reg file ?? cuz i've got confused from that link u gave me and for john : this is the Last Session.ini : and the .reg file and bytheway check also at the .reg file why when i set the WaitToKillAppTime to 500 i see it become 5000 :S and also the Menushowdelay i set 0 become 20 :S:S Last_Session.ini rebrov.reg

when im customizing my new XP cd with nlite i add option in nlite tweaks to sit default internet explorer page is www.google.com right ?? ok and i also add .reg files to work as runonce commands from nlite and this .reg file contain the www.google.com default page reg key also like this [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main] "Use Search Asst"="no" "Start Page"="http://www.google.co.uk/" now after i install the windows i open ie7 it still google not the default ,,, although at the ie7 properties its already the default page :( but once i open ie7 it opened with another page like msn or anything else what should i do to make this reg file work ???

yes but when i give anyone this windows and if he in network or want to use it on network it would be bothering thing when he want to access the windows shares and found out that this one only require user and pass i want to fix this from nlite can u tell me how to make it like default like all other windows ?

how come disable it ... u said be4 the other fine computers has it enabled cuz it enabled by default on xp and i might be disabled it so it show's the user and pass login .. so i should enable it not disable it ?? to be like other computers wat u think

hmm u sure about this if i ticked the simple file sharing again like it was or enable it again from registry will it fix this login box and access network like normal and if yes !! how can i fix this from registry man ??

Beat me to it.If you don't want XP asking you for a username/password, make sure the username/password on your computer matches the one on the computer you're trying to access. but every time i install xp the share is normal never ask for anything why this one ?? i think cuz this one i edited with nlite so something i should do to make it normal and what is it :S ?
