I have a Saitek P2500 and when I play trackmania the screen saver comes on (and the monitor turns off too) after the normal time because there's no mouse and keyboard usage. How do I configure the gamepad so that windows knows there's activity? I went to the device manager but didn't find anything.

if not there should be 3rd party graphics patches like they did a HD patch for Need for speed undercover.

there are ways to get around that but for me the big problem is the specs requirement. My laptop is HP 9540us with GeForce m8600GS and it's pretty laggy at the lowest setting. not really playable.

ya i can use openoffice writer by itself. so what are needed in the "optional components" specifically for writer?

I have Office 2007 and I'd like to put it on an eeePC. However due to its small disk I will only put Word on there. so under the "installation options" tab during installing, what are need by Word specifically and what can I strip down? I'm expecting the app to be around 30 MB after install if not less since I won't be using any app other than Word on it.

what about the dreamscene contect packs i downloaded from windows update? i think they're still in my hard drive even though i unclicked them in the features. how can i delete those, which should be about a few hundred MBs, so that it'll even show up in windows update again?

is there a way i can delete the dreamscene packs without vliteing?

if i have windows' feature off do they still occupy disk space on my computer? can i delete local content such as the windows dreamscene?
