Thanks alot for all your replies! Tried safe mode boot and it brought up a few lines then restarted. I am quite new to all this and am trying to learn as quick as i can. If it is the drivers could I just connect my friends hdd to my pc and install the drivers from there? Nav

Hi, I need a little help! I recently done a full clean install from my original xp disc on a mates old desktop pc. But now when I try to boot it, it will get to the loading xp screen then I get a quick flash of the 'blue screen of death' and it restarts itself! I am totally confused as to what i have done! I even tried connecting my own personal hdd to see if it was a problem with that and it still does the same thing, any help would be totally awesome!!! Thanks. Nav.
