LaRock, this won't work - at least not on Vista 64-bits. As long as you have set either version of IE (32 or 64 bit) as the default, the other version of IE will consider itself to be default as well. They sort of act like one instance of IE, it seems. I managed to set the 64-bit version as default by bluntly replacing all references in the registry referring to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (32-bits IE) with "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" (the 64-bits version). Not very elegant, but it did the trick. PS: I quickly changed the settings back again because not a single ActiveX control was working with the 64-bits IE
