  1. Hi all, I'm having a problem with a driver and have no idea what's happened. I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 <insert groans here> wich came pre-installed with Vista. Yesterday, I downgraded (or from my perspective, upgraded) to XP. I managed to get all the devices working bar one, which is showing in Device Manager under Other Devices as "Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus". The device status shows "This device is not configured correctly". I don't understand why there is a problem... I've installed all the drivers for the devices and everything is working (including the audio!). I've also made sure to install the HDA hotfix (KB888111) prior to upgrading to SP3. As I said, it's not making the system unusable, but it is irritating to be greeted at my desktop with a window declaring that I've added new hardware and asking if I'd like to install the drivers every time I boot up! Any suggestions would be greatly appeciated. Thanks in advance
