We have a Windows 98 SE and would like to try to get it on internet, but it has the old style dial up and someone's number on it. It came from a Yardsale. We can play games and everything else on it, but would like to hook it up to internet. We currently have 2 computers, both XP. and they are running on a D-Link 604 Router. We have put in the Ethernet board, i think thats what you call it. And the light on the Router shows that it is hooked up. But we cannot internet. Is there something we can do to get rid of the old dial up system and have it like the xp's?
