I don't understand your problem... you were able to slipstream sp3 in windows xp sp2 install?

I use my "Windows XP + sp2" install CD, provided by my employer... it has the serial already in it (I don't know if it was done using nlite). I don't have any other windows install CD yes, doesn't work no... it is a CD provided by my employer (university of Geneva) it is a retail CD with the UniGE serial included in it no... what do you mean? thanx for your help Asheen

hi everybody, my problem is the following: I'm using nlite 1.4.9.1 in order to make a Windows XP + SP3 install CD I have a Windows XP + SP2 install CD I followed the instructions given here: http://www.jenyburn.com/home/comment-creer...936929-integre/ sorry it's in french but I speak french, my install CD is in french and I downloaded the french SP3... I think the images on this webpage are sufficient to understand what I did... anyway, the result is always the same: as soon as I try to include the SP3 in the XP install, nlite tells me everything is fine, I burn the ISO and boot on it. THEN... when windows install wants to copy files on the HD, it gives me errors for many files (quite a lot)... something like "file not found" or something it's always the same files, the 1st 2 are adptif.dll and communic.inf I can't find these files anywere: -not on the XPsp2 install CD nor in any .cab files on this CD -not on my XPsp3 HD (sp3 installed via windows update) -not on a HD on which the XPsp2 install has been stopped after the files copy step & 1st reboot maybe these files come from the sp3 (I got it as an .exe file, I don't know how to check) anyway... I anyone could help me making that Windows XP + SP3 install CD, I'd be very happy thanx a lot in advance Asheen
