  1. I went into the device manager and looked under that option. But all that was there was codec information*. I did however look under the PCI Device and the id was: -"PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_284B&SUBSYS_02731028&REV_03\3&B1BFB68&0&D8" I don't know if this will be helpful at all. If there is any other info that I could give that might help then please ask and I'll try my hardest. *Audio Codecs *Legacy Audio Codecs *Legacy Video capture devices *Media controll Devices *Video Codecs
  2. Yes, the Realtek one. I believe I also tried the vista version.
  3. Hi, I recently bought a Dell Vostro 1510. It came with Vista, everything was working fine, however, I didn't really want Vista. So I installed a copy of XP and everything was fine, I could get drivers for everything, mostly of the disc that came with it or on the site. The sound, it seems though, isn't working, I've tried various drivers but the sound card (or integrated sound) always comes under PCI Device. Can anyone please help? It's really starting to annoy me. Thanks, Mr 047
