the problem is that i've slimmed winxp down a bit to much, i can't do all the cmd commands that i used to be able to do, ipconfig, xcopy find, and a lot more that i haven't tried are not working anymore. i think it's due to a box i checked, question is, how do i get these command-line tools back regards Klaas
