  1. As a follow up, I found that this is caused by the "Activation follows mouse (X-Mouse)" setting, accessible via the TweakUI utility. This feature causes the focus to switch to the application over which the mouse is moved, without requiring the user to click on the application to gain focus. I'm really dependent on this type of focus, as I've been using it since I began using windowing systems back in the late 1980s. When I was using Office 2003 Pro on my Windows/2000 SP4 work station, I had X-Mouse enabled and still got tooltips for calendar entries (in fact, the Windows/2000 system is still running, and I just KVMd over to it and verified that it does indeed work there). Does anyone know how to get the tooltips to work even with the X-Mouse feature enabled? Thanks,
  2. I've searched through the forums, but couldn't find anything appropriate. I just upgraded to a Windows/XP Pro (x86) machine running Office 2003 pro and found that I no longer get tooltip help for meetings and appointments which are not completely visible within the month view of the Outlook Calendar window. Just to make sure it's clear, say I create a meeting to be held at 1:30PM with a subject of: Meet to discuss this very important topic In the calendar month view, I will only see "1:30pm Meet to dis", as the day rectangle is not that wide. In previous versions of Outlook, I could hover over the text with my mouse and get a tooltip of the entire subject text. I've looked all through the options, and can't find anything that looks like it would turn this feature on/off. Thanks for any help.
