  1. Let me try explain better. When You Open a File a Window comes up. The Window usually has a Top Tool Bar that lists FILE, EDIT, VIEW Ect... It Also has a "Side Tool Bar" that lists Folder Information, Details, and Other Places. Now I know its possible to go into Properties and Turn off the "Side Tool Bar" because it is something new that Windows XP Incorperated into the layout. Like you can change to Windows Classic and the Side Tool bar will disappear. My Problem is here. My DESKTOP for some reason is acting like a Window and has a "Side Tool Bar" I have no clue how it got there and cant get it to go away. Any suggestions on how I can take the "Side Tool Bar" off of my Desktop? Greatly appreciate it.
  2. I have kind of a minor problem, but I have no idea how to fix it. One day my comp froze, so I rebooted. But when I did this messed up column popped up on the left hand side of the desktop. The column contains all the information of the current file that you are currently clicked on. Theres absolutly no place on the column in which to turn it off. Its really really annoying. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. I've already checked the registry but I don't know what the preference/option is called. I have also supplied a screen shot. Thanks, Brian
