Hello, I successfully can do a normal (non-unattended) install from original DVD resulting in some hw-manager-exclamation-marks which easily can be wiped out by driver-updates after installation: After such *non*-unattended installation I update IntelInf 9.0.0.1008 realtek audio realtek network nvidia by just pointing to the inf-folders and there are no certification-messages while updating and no excl.marks afterwards, so I think I use correct certified x64-vista-drivers for my hardware. Now I try to install just with basic unattention and drivers on usb-stick (using the method of setting the driver's root to a folder on the usb-stick) and it seems that installation comes to an end only if there are *no* intel inf drivers on the stick. With no IntelInf on stick, realtek-drivers are successfully integrated (not nvidia, they seem to need intel inf). The moment I add intel chipset driver (9.0.0.1008) to the usb-driver folder the installation always gets stuck at the same point: After "installing updates" (green check), there's a endless looping pattern of hd-activity with no progress and *no messages* (I waited for more than a hour). btw.: I tried unattended only with IntelInf and it got stuck too. I tried to vary the sequence of integration by renaming driverfolders, without success. I tried the same after dropping two intel inf files which have no corresponding cat-file, without success. I tried the whole intelinf folder on stick an also only the vista subfolder, without success. Do you have an idea? my system: x38-ds4, bios F4a, vista64 sp1 homepremium, no additional hw connected: pedroxy
