thanks to all .... I m able to understand how to edit the registry vlaue bt still i m not able to stop the setupapi.app.log file to keep writing into it.. i succesfully edit the register values but still it's makeing entrys into it i set the registery values for "LogMask (0x00000000)" bt it is still keep writing... even i tried to deleate that file bt that file was getting created. again n again.... is there any way to stop this file from getting created...
