Forgive me for asking a dumb question i guess, but with those generic drives, are you saying i could buy say the X1550 , put the card in my tower and when it ask for drivers, just install the generic drivers and it will work just like that?

Wait a min, very simple question. Does the X1300 or X1550 work on win9x with any win9x modded drivers? What is VBEMP X86 thing about? Is it a driver that works for win9x with certain video cards?

Wait a min if the 6.2 drivers work with the X1300 or X1550, couldn't you just the win9x 6.2 drivers, they exist.

I have a question maybe someone can help. My onboard sound seems to be having issues, it disappears, everything gets greyed out, however when installing the autopatcher, it installs something that fixes the problem, and it finds the hardware and installs the software and my sound comes back. Does anyone know, in what section in the autopatcher where it upgrades your sound? Can i install this manually?

Well yea i am back using IE6 and i already install the autopatcher. everything is working perfectly, but my onboard sound, it keeps disappeaing, seems like something is conflicting with something.

When i was using my Radeon 7000, and 9250, the 4.3 drivers was the best, perfectly for games and everything, no flaws. I am using the last version of fraps, fraps 19d, i was curious did anyone make it so i can use fraps the newest version with win9x? I can't record sound with the old version.

Whats so bad about IE6? Also, doesn't win9x need IE6 for certain programs, etc,?

If you are going to release this file, you need to make it so it works in english, Nvidia cards, FX5500 and so on, also make sure it works with IE6. Because it no way i am going to go back to IE5.

WOW, thanks alot. After installing the program, it turn my computer from english into a different language, not only that , but i had to reinstall windows98se, because everytime i tried to get back to the desktop, an error message will appear. Thanks so much for a crap program

omg, the sound finally came back. I had to install the right driver WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I am still going to buy 2 sound cards tho.

Does the file/link that you posted work with nvidia cards, say the FX5500, its the only card i use for win9x, until i find and buy the FX5600.

Well i went back to windows98se, downgraded from xp home edition, because i want to play older games at peace. Xp can not run none of the nfs games good, or turok, blood 2, flatout 1 and 2, about 95% of all my games runs better on win9x then XP. xP Is a good OS, but its clearly meant for new games. One example, Flatout 2 runs at 50-60fps on win9x, but on xp, the game will struggle and only hit 8-15, it seems like something was holding it back. I remember driving and the game will seem like there was a forcefield holding the race, i can't explain, but the game is choppy as hell. On win9x, max settings, no issues. Anyways, I am going to install RP7, because i want those nice icons.

I install autopatcher, then uberskin, then kernal. Everything is working just fine.

Should i install the revolution pack, Service pack, or KernelEx v0.3.5 first, etc???????????
