I used vLite to create a DVD with Vista Ultimate that included sp1. Everything appeared to work just fine. In fact, if I insert the disk it will auto-start and give me the option to install windows. However -- Seems like there's always a "however" doesn't it? -- the DVD will not boot. I want to use the Windows Repair function after installing a new mobo in my machine. Shouldn't the product of the Slipstream function be a bootable DVD?

Thanks. I finally had to set the vlite site as a trusted site and then I was able to download the file. I made a Vista Ultimate sp1 installation/bootable disk and everything seemed to go ok. We'll see this weekend... Thanks again, Howard

Hi. I've tried all of the v-lite download links but only get an error 403.htm page for each one. I've tried disabling all of my security software but it didn't make any difference. Is there a particular configuration that I need to enable in order to download from the site? Thanks in advance, Howard
