  2. Kurt_Aust, it seems you have the installer without JRE. I have the installer with JRE, because the Italian version of the installer without JRE doesn't exist. So using the installation file *with JRE* I want to do an installation without JRE, so I need to know which argument/option/parameter I can use in order to do that. Just as you can use /S to do a silent installation, I need the option to do the installation without JRE, something like this: OOo_2.4.1_Win32Intel_install_wJRE_it.exe /NOJRE
  3. Did that already: I unchecked the "Include the Java JRE with this download" option but when I click on the Italian installation link an error page appears with the following message: You can check it yourself. I wrote an e-mail to the Open Office people but they didn't answer me. Then I asked in the Open Office forum and no one was able to tell me anything about it.
  4. Hello there, the Italian installer of Open Office 2.4.1 without Java JRE is not available on the OOo download page so I am looking for an argument to pass to the installation exe file from the command prompt in order to not install the JRE. Is there anyone who knows such argument? Something like "OpenOffice241.exe /nojre"...

  7. Hello, is there available an addon for the latest "DirectX 9c June 2008" or a post-sp3 update pack which includes it?
  8. Hey radix, I have tried with the commands in unattended section of nLite you mentioned but I still have found the option "Remember each folder's view settings" enabled after the installation.
  9. Hey radix, I think your code above forcefully turns the Start menu to standard, even when it is set to Classic in nLite.
  10. Thanks a lot!!! Really, very much appreciated
  11. Thanks a lot! Where do I put the reg file then?
  12. Hello, I would also like to change only the default wallpaper for all users but I didn't quite understand the procedure you have explained. Could you please describe it in more details?

  16. Hello everybody! Does anybody know whether and how it's possible to disable the "video preview" feature in Explorer in a slipstream Windows XP installation disk created using nLite? I usually do that double clicking a reg file after the installation but it would be nice to have it done by default during the installation. I don't want the automatic preview and thumbnail generation when browsing files list. The preview hide the icon of the files, and doesn’t allow users to instant know the format or extension of the files, such as whether a video is of .avi, .wmv or .mpg format. Beside, the process to show the thumbnail preview may slow down the file listing process when opening folder with video files. Beside, the preview on no codec or corrupted movie or video clip (i.e. no index from a partial download) may cause system problems such as Windows XP stops responding or freezing with 100% CPU utilization, and prevent users from deleting, renaming or moving the file until the file is completely loaded.
  17. Thanks a lot! At which moment I am supposed to do that? My installation source is a CD so I can't replace that. Do you think it could work replacing it in the folder created by nLite just before making the iso?
  18. Is it possible to create with nLite a slipstreamed XP installation disk replacing the default wallpapers (Wind, Tulips, Stonehenge, etc) with some other wallpapers?
  19. Hello, is it possible to create a slipstream XP installation disk with nLite, replacing the default System32/drivers/etc/HOSTS file with another one?
