  1. I'm currently using adaware+adwatch and symantec coorporate anti virus.... No luck though
  2. I've got a pretty darn serious problem.... When my comp has been on for an average of 30 seconds, explorer takes a minimum of 50% of my cpu. Along with approx. 150 mb of my RAM. That is annoying. Performance is, needles to say, ROTTEN. I suspect hyperthreading has a part in it, as 50% cpu would seems to round a figure to be just coincidental. I suppose i could turn off HT, or maybe reinstall windows, but these are not satifactory sollutions. My comp is: Abit AI7 (intel 865), 512 kingston hyperX(dual), 3 ghz intel HT (socket 478, 800 mhz fsb), various harddisks(two of them on a fasttrack100 raidcontroller) Win XP with sp1 Any help would be much appreciated!
  3. Well, yes I did... But thx anyway. Skægt at møde landsmænd, så langt hjemmefra. hehe...
  4. Anybody got some switches for me? I'd really like the following apps to install silently: Powerstrip Audiograbber Netlimiter DC++ StyleXP SubViewer LeapFTP And the NoName script for Mirc I've searched around, and I've found none.
  5. Well.... Now I've tried to change Administrators to Administratorer (Makes sense in danish), and now I'm waiting for Virtual PC..... This poses a new question.... Is there no faster way to check.... Virtual PC takes about 30 minutes+ to get to where it's interesting for me.....
  6. Hmmm, it doesn't seem to different from my english version.... But I can see that the entry in autologon.reg:"autoadminlogon="1"" hasn't been efectuated either.... I'm obviously doing something very wrong...
  7. hehe.... U could be right.... Knäckebröt is swedish though... I'll look into it. thx.
  8. I'm sorry I keep bothering u with this "simple stuff", I've just been at it for days and the kids are yelling, the wife is sour and I'm so close to goal......
  9. Well am I a n00b or what?! It seems my troubles are of a quite different character! My ordinary user account does not have admin rights. autologon.reg Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] "DefaultUserName"="User" "AutoAdminLogon"="1" winnt.sif ;SetupMgrTag [Data] AutoPartition=0 MsDosInitiated="0" UnattendedInstall="Yes" [unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS UnattendSwitch="yes" FileSystem=* OemPnPDriversPath="Drivers\ECS\LAN\;Drivers\ECS\AGP\;Drivers\ECS\Audio\" DriverSigningPolicy=ignore Hibernation=No [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=NO UnattendSwitch="yes" OEMSkipRegional=1 TimeZone=105 OemSkipWelcome=1 [userData] ProductKey= FullName="User" OrgName="New" ComputerName=Computer [Display] BitsPerPel=32 Xresolution=800 YResolution=600 Vrefresh=60 [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1 SystemLocale=00000406 UserLocale=00000406 InputLocale=0406:00000406 [identification] JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes [Components] msmsgs=off UserAccounts net user User * /add net localgroup Administrators User /add net accounts /maxpwage:unlimited REGEDIT /S autologon.reg EXIT
  10. Well.... One step closer to jackpot! Now my problem is not having administratvie rights early in the installation.... Messenger starts whining about admin rights?!? I'm confused...
  11. I've just made my first unattended winxp cd.... And it actually works, but with limitations i'm afraid. I do not wan't a seperate admin account... I just wan't one account, that does it all.... Is this possible? I don't wan't any passwords on my computer, and i don't wan't multiple accounts.... The trouble is, when i log on for the first time, my svcpack and cmdlines etc are not executed! Terrible. Can anybody help? I've tried to search the forum, but the only one who's asked the question, didn't get a satisfying answer... Well not for me anyways... Hope someone can help...
