I readed many docs abouth integrating Intel SATA drivers to XP CD, but no one worked fine for me. With NLITE it works, but I like to do it manually. There is an actual working method ? It can be ok doing it with HFSLIP too. Thanks

If I understand well, this is the normal procedure that I still used and gave me problems. If I delete the SVCPACK folder in the SOURCE ( or delete only KB911164.*), so that patches don't apply, will be ok ? Because If I well understand that patch is for IE6, but I slipstream the IE7.

Hi. I have the original xp sp2c pro cd but someting buggy will not work 100% fine with hfslip integrating sp3 and ie7. I have a MSDN XP Pro VL SP3 ISO image, and I'd like to ask you if it's possibile to convert that VL in a OEM working with my legal serial. ( I'd like too to install from an original SP3 sources, not SP2 to 3 patched ) I tried to hack the setupp.ini as described here http://www.thetechguide.com/howto/setuppini.html but it will not accept my OEM key. Can you help me ? Thanks

yes hfslip slipstreamed sp3 in the same session. There is the windowsxp-kb936929-sp3-x86-ita.exe in the HF folder. In the I386\SVCPACK of my SP2c Pro OEM CD I have: BRANCHES.INF - HFINT.DAT - KB911164.CAT - KB911164.EXE Thanks

I'd like to report that I used a OEM windows XP Pro CD with SP2c, and I used hfslip 1.7.7 beta_80601a for SP3 integration + IE7 + WMP11 + misc, and I have not IE icons in quick launch and in start menu. I'd like to add to my win iso, the cabs/exe's for the new Microsoft Update ( don't need files for the old windows update ). What files I need, and in what HFSLIP folder I have to place them ? I have XP SP3. Thanks

I am using HFSLIP 1.73 with a XP SP3 VL ( original iso from MSDN ), and I got problems with this 2 hotfixes: windowsxp-kb942763-x86 windowsxp-kb898461-x86 I have both in the HF folder, but when I install xp and run microsoft update, it tell me that I need that 2 hotfixes. In the setuperr.log I got 0 errors. It seem that they were not successfully integrated by hfslip. There is a way to fix that ?
