  1. Adding Driver Registry Strings to XP&2000

    I don't know whether i can help you or not but i found it similar to what your problem is. try to go to registry by this address HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Reinstall\0003 then you'll see a string name Reinstallstring and it's value is the address that it point to the usb driver. I'm not sure with this! because i never meet such the problem but you can try it
