  1. PCI Drivers

    denshe posted a topic in Windows 9x/ME
    My HP Pavilion 8655c IN 98 OS is stating that I need to install drivers for PCI Communication device this occured in the prcoess of networking tow computers via a router and cable connection. While installing and changing out NIC cards I had remove hardware items such as the sound card and video card thereafter this message appears. Do i need this device if I'm running a cable connection? Can i use my recovery disk to recover the PCI driver? What use iS the PCI drvier/device. Please help!
