That's brilliant, thanks, it's working now. The auto set up function obviously has a few bugs in it but having gone through it all manually it is now sending & receiving as required. Do you know how I can import the folders from my Yahoo account into Outlook 2007 so as I do not lose my historical mail that I have filed? Cheers

Hi I'm a newbie so go easy on me folks if I'm asking what some might think are dumb questions. I am running a Dell Inspiron (great piece of kit) with Vista & Office 2007 Pro. I have upgraded my Yahoo mail to POP so that I can run it within Outlook 2007. All went well and it imported my Yahoo inbox into my Outlook set up so I have an inbox that mirrors the Yahoo view. The problem I now have is that I cannot receive any new email, I cannot import any folders set up within my Yahoo mail and my outbox in Outlook has a load of email in the outbox which I have typed and 'sent' yet which will not release out to be sent. I have trawled all of the usual help pages I can find on the web but to no avail, can someone please explain what the issue is that is stopping my Outlook account from functioning properly and if you can give step by step instructions as to how to resolve within the Outlook config it I will be eternally grateful. I'm also getting a repeated pop up box asking for my passowrd for authentication within Outlook yet my password is saved within the settings and is there (starred out) in the relevant field so I cannot worj out why this is happening either.
