i've also used this set of switches and it still produces the "bad command line" error.

i downloaded AutoIT and WinInstall.. but after having a bit of a look at em couldn't figure out how exactly to use them. don't supose you could give give us a run down on how to use em.

G'day everyone, So I'm basically finished my unattended installation and you guys have been a great help. Only have a few small problem left to debug, and here is one of them. thats my runonceex.cmd and i get an error at the start concerning the Adobe Reader 6 switches, Im pretty sure it will have something to do with the \"s i have put in because after reading the guide on dealing with "s in RunOnceEx i had no real idea on what i was really doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Ashlin

there is my .theme file. (i tried the background directory of %windir%\Web\Wallpaper\kemixp.jpg and it did not work)

I have changed the theme i'm using but didn't change the background it used. How do i change that in the theme file?

oh, after the installation the picture kemixp.jpg does appear in the wallpaper directory it just isn't enabled as the wallpaper

Hi everyone, i've got an image i want to replace the bliss.bmp with. here is my regtweaks file. you can see the background info right at the top. the picture is stored like in this directory i tried the reg hacks with double "\"'s and it still didn't work. Any ideas? If you need to see any other files just gimme a yell Thanks alot. Ashlin

found the problem, idiocy on my part.. didn't have the msn installation file in the correct spot. Thanks for the help anyway Paule.

G'day everyone. here is the .cmd i'm using for adding programs (same used for hotfixes), when it goes to install msn it screws up. but everything else installs fine. any ideas what the problem is? Thanks for your time. Ashlin.

Will that stop me being logged in as an admin? Because thats particually what i want. when under admin things work diferently, like ctrl alt del for example. It brings up a sub menu when under admin instead of the simple task manager.

G'day, When my unattended install has been completed a "log on to windows" box pops up with "Administrator" as the username and no password required for access to the computer, however i just want it to install like i'm a regular user. and not prompt me for a password everytime it boots up. Here is my winnt.sif file perhaps you can see the problem? Thanks for your time.

Hi everyone, I'm a bit of a noob at this, and so far i've found all the guides on making an unattended XP cd really good. However, i'm having a bit of a problem when it gets to the 13 minute service pack install, it comes up with an error something like "Incorrect switch press /? for help" this is the contents of my svcpack.inf file. Can anyone see anything wrong with this? Thanks for your time, Ashlin.
