Hi. I'm new here. I need help with a used printer I just got from a relative. It's a HP psc 1210 all-in-one printer. The relative has misplaced the installation CD and I'd prefer not to install the full software. HP's website doesn't provide the basic drivers for this printer, they only offer the full software. I've spent hours trying to find drivers for this printer and I found a solution on these forums. However, I'm a bit hesitant to try these drivers as HP says they don't go with my printer. Also, I'm a little unclear on something else. If these drivers work, will I also be able to use the scanner? Or do I need the software to use the scanner? HP told me to use the drivers for the Deskjet 990c, but that didn't work. I'm hoping to resolve this problem soon. I'm starting to dream about it in my sleep.
