I have been working with XP for many years. I have worked on many nlite projects, although I have met a snag. I have a 100 mb XP made. 1 problem though. There is no networking. I removed the Workstation and Computer browsing services. However I left Network DDE Service in. The Network DDE relies on the other two. I have also discovered since that the 3 DLL's Required for the two services I deleted are: Browser.dll SRVSVC.dll WKSSVC.dll I added those to my installed 100mb XP then I registered them using the normal method. I made sure the services were sill registered in the services manager. But when I try to start the Workstation or Computer Browser service I get the errors "Error 1075: Dependancy service marked for deletion" and "Error 193: 0xc1" This is quite far beyond the realms of simple nlite, but can anyone help me out? I really need to create an optional network installer. That way I can add network support later if I need it... is there more I need to do to "Reinstall" the services, and also are they the only ones I need to install? Here are my current services. (and this XP works 100% ok apart from networking and stuff I don't need) I think that everything, thanks a lot for any help!
