I think Microsoft specifically says that you need to have AT LEAST service pack 1 installed in order to install service pack 3. However, I also read that it is recommended to install SP2 before SP3. I cant give sources, as I don't remember where I read them.

Would it be possible to add a feature to copy your current windows xp activation files to the cd and automatically restore them after xp setup? A tutorial I read online says all that is needed to do is copy wpa.dbl and wpa.bak from your current xp install, then after reinstalling, reboot in safe mode and copy them back. <I CANT CONFIRM THIS AS 100%, maybe someone that knows more about it can shed some light> A feature for this built right into nLite would be awesome. There would really be no harm because if your hardware configuration changes it will reject the wpa.dbl anyways, so people couldn't use this to 'hack' windows. Another feature I'd like is the option to set your virtual memory or even disable it.
