  1. I'm using Office 2000 to edit a 100 mb website. Images in the image file are listed alphabetically, because I labelled them that way. An auto created 'supporting' folder named ***_files lists those same images in their original size (image1) and their size as they appear on the site (image2) The images I INSERT into the Biographys Page are taken from the images file, the alpha list one. They are INSERTED, not Linked or inserted and linked. Everything is tickety-boo until I FTP the lot. Opening the page in the browser, images appear in places they don't belong, they are squeezed and pulled and stretched into foreign places. The problem arises when I insert a person's bio between two others or add an image to the page. I removed all image folders and files from the server. I FTP everything again, each of 8 pages and each of the supporting file folders. All images took their proper place, very, very slowly. EXCEPT ONE that crept into a place not it's own. I left it that way. Today I open the site and found the errant image had given way to the correct image, but the RETURN TO TOP links were gone from the Biographys page. I'm confident adding text inside tables, background color, fonts and simple links-bookmarks, email, web sites. All images are inside a table, word wrapped. HP Media Center PC Vista Home Premium / Office 2000 / Doteasy.com free hosting / Ace FTP What's going on? For someone who knows what they are doing this is like asking directions on exiting a phone booth. (I didn't stop by the Welcome Wagon after I registered. Please excuse that rudeness. )
