  1. error 80096001 = [unattended] TargetPath=\MyName all fine = [unattended] TargetPath=MyName voila, problem solved
  2. First, big THANK YOU is it me, or am i missing a "prior to hotfixes, non switchable, exe files in here \SVC-XXX\" folder ? like SVC-PRE, but without switches ? (a folder for files, without switches, executed before hotfixes) PS: dont be hard on me, im 200% newbie
  3. ok... ive just copyed all from scratch... original XP cd... to hdd... then slipstream SP1... then i put in my "winnt.sif" & "txtsetup.sif" & "svcpack.inf" into the \i386\ folder, and delete "svcpack.in_"... i copy my hotfixes to run from svcpack into \i386\updates\... i copy my whole \$OEM$\ folder structure... i copy 1 "fasttrak.sy_" (MAKECAB from fastrak.sys) to the \i386\ folder... i then proceed to make an .ISO file, with the linked CD tool... edit it to fit my folders, and run it... runs smoothly... 100%, press any key... load up VMware... set it to capture the .ISO... boot into textmode... all good, then GUI... *BONG*.... still exact same error, on the same 2 files, with the exact same error code... what did i miss ? something about the RAID fasttrak driver ? also added 3 files for the RAID fasttrak device in \$OEM$\$1\drivers\00-raid... and added link to it in winnt.sif OemPnPDriversPath=drivers\00-raid; so... lost...
  4. nope... ive messed it up somewhere... cant really think of what it should be,.... what if i extract those 3 files, from my original danish windows XP CD ? im guessing no... cuase the slipstreamed SP 1 would not have altered these files, to include the new files, added by SP1... right ? so i have to delete my /i386/ folder, and rerip my original CD, slipstream it, then add in my winnt.sif, dosnet.inf, txtsetup.??? and svcpack.inf... and all my hotfixes into /i386/update/ etc... right ? just bowsed through my c:\XPCD\I386\... there is no "syssetup.inf", but there is a "syssetup.in_"... ?
  5. all i know about those 3 files are layout.inf... wich contains all the CRC values of the protected files, right ? this is what i thought at first... some file got corrupted somehow... but the thing is, ive never touched any of those files... nor have i touched the xxxenh.dll files that creates this error... so only thing i can see ive done wrong, is nothing nero must have messed it up...
  6. well, just runned the same .iso file through virtual PC... same, exact same error... ive "burned" the .iso with nero6... with the image recorder... and with all relaxed ISO settings on... ? well, guess im going to create a .bin file instead, and load it up in daemon tools... here goes...
  7. oh... cause im using VMware, with an .ISO file mounted... and it did act funny earlier, when i was testing wich critical updates i needed... hmmm.... guess ill tr y virtual PC, and see if they act the same way... thanks alot for the info... greatly apriciated and Windows setup sounds much better hehe thanks again, ill return with info on the virtual PC instead...
  8. Maybe u could set it up to run from GUIRUNONCE, and install the full driver pack, silently... ?
  9. Hello every one... Im trying to create my own personal unattended XP install (danish) im past the SCSI driver for my harddisk, and the textmode setup... all files copyed and all that... rebooting... loading GUI setup, installing windows; 39minutes... This is an serious error. bla bla look in the log files.... this is repeated 3 times now im like *WTF*... maybe this is some CRC check on these files that has gotten corrupted. but i have never touched these files... so i have absolutly no clue, what so ever to do to fix it... please help
  10. i would rather have my SCSI controller in the windows textsetup loaded by itself, not from winnt.sif or any additional oem/textmode... this also hepls ALOT, if i want to test it on a virtual PC/VMware... as it would fail without the SCSI controller present... when put into windows textsetup itself, no errors even if not present... i stink at english
