In our company we are using the old Windows PE for running an unattended XP installation and I thought I coud install Windows 7 the same way. But it doesn't seem to be possible.

Hi, I'm trying to install Windows 7 from Windows PE 1.6 / 2005 (which is based on the Windows XP SP3 setup files). When I start the Windows 7 installation with setup.exe, I get an error which says: I've created the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows Key and set CSDVersion to 300, but this didn't work. Where does setup.exe search for the Windows version information? Thanks
