  1. Where is this location pulling files from to setup windows? I am having problems pre-loading SAS drivers and am hoping I can find this location to do so. Any ideas?
  2. Need to pre load the LSI SAS drivers using WinPe. I am not sure what files to edit, winpeoem.sif, txtsetup.sif etc.. Attempted so far with the ISO: 1.Created a folder with SAS driver and placed them in bin\system32\lsi_sas 2.Edited winpeoem.sif at \BIN\I386\system32 [OemDriverParams] OemDriverRoot="" OemDriverDirs=LSI_SAS 3.Edited txtsetup.sif at \BIN\I386 Not quit sure what to update there but tried a few things. No luck yet! With everything I have attempted above it appears the OS is brought down and then the server reboots to continue installation. There is a point where I can do F6 to install the driver which I have tested and it works but I want to avoid the whole F6 method and do it unattended. I am not sure where I need to add the LSI_SAS drivers on the server so it will be pnp to be recognized. Any ideas would be appreciated?
  3. I need to do a RIS installation of 2003std using WinPe for an HP ProLiant ML110 G5. The G5 has a the SAS card model SC40Ge with one SAS HD attached. I have changed no BIOS settings at this time. First thing I did was update the WinPE ISO with the SAS drivers. Then edited the winpeoem.sif. When those are done I created my ISO and can boot to my image builder and select 2003 from the server. After it copies the files from the server and I think loads the OS the the HD it then reboots and I get the BSOD = STOP: 0x0000007B (0XF789E63C, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) My guess..I think this is because the SAS card is not being recognized by the drivers but am not sure why I see the setup screen. I think I need to load the SAS drivers to my unattended server location but am not sure if the $OEM$ location is the spot. I have created 3 different folders with all drivers from HP that might work for the SAS card and no luck. I have other servers that use this 2003 unattended location that will hopefully not be affected. Any advice would be helpful.
