  1. Unfortunately not. I've found one battery on the board, soldered to the board, there might be another, but could do with the service manual to know how to take it apart fully.
  2. Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 5101 Awlmi laptop which i recently flashed the bios to try and resolve another problem. Does anyone have a service manual or know of a way of 'un-flashing' the bios. When i switch it on, nothing appears on screen. I read somewhere about booting something from a external floppy drive (which i have) but couldn't find the correct file to flash it with. In desperate need of some help with this one! Jonathon (P.s. I will never flash another bios again!)
  3. Hi, just a bit of help, i'm trying to burn the XP CD using Nero as instructed here: http://www.msfn.org/articles.php?action=sh...1&pagenum=2 But what and where do I find the IMAGE.IMG file or how do I make it? It's a first for me with this whole creating an XP disc process! 1. Select CD-ROM (Boot) 2. Select Image file from Source of boot image data 3. Set Kind of emulation: to No Emulation Many thanks in advance! Jon
  4. Hi, just tried to follow the steps for creating an Unattended installation of XP. Have copied the XP Professional disc to my hard drive using nLite. I'm a bit confused, but can set up the batch script for installing applications but where do I save the file. It says about $OEM$\install. I can't find it! Where do I find this folder and also where do I place the actual application files, msi's .exe etc? Do i have to copy the whole of the installation files e.g. Nero 8 to the $OEM$ install folder? Many thanks in advance. Jonathon
