  1. I got this working by extracting install.ins from branding.cab and putting a copy in $oem$, you then need to add the proper lines to your winnt.sif file to have setup use the file. Thanks to everyone that replied and helped.
  2. I did try placing the branding.cab in the hfcabs folder, I also replaced all of the other IE6 Files with those from IEAK, I then deleted the _IE6_HFSLIP, _IE6b_HFSLIP, and _OE6_HFSLIP files and ran hfslip again with the same result, everything works and install great but It's not using the proxy settings from branding.cab. Is there anything else I need to do if I'm rerunning hfslip with the source or sourcess folders for this to work?
  3. Is there any way to include the settings from IEAK into setup? I am installing Win2k with IE6 and would like to have the custom settings applied during setup. Has anyone done anything similar to this or is there a better way to apply the settings?
  4. I tried using IEAK for proxy settings, the branding.cab file has the correct settings but after windows installs they are not applied to IE, any ideas?
  5. Just like the title, is there an easy way to include ie6 proxy setting in win2k setup? I tried a using a winnt.sif file with the IEBrandingFile=XXXX.ins line, but when I placed the .ins file in a "$oem$" folder in i386 in my root I got SP4.cab files missing errors. I'm trying to create a setup cd that is partially automated, like the procuct id code, organization etc., but still has the option to repair. Is copying the WINNT.SIF into the i386 in the sorce folder the proper way to try to automate some of the setup options? Also when I use the WINNT.SIF file i lose the text setup screen that prompts for repair which i would like to keep?
