I think i found a fix. i think it was part of the file protection. so i found a program that will eject my cd and then run my cleanup program. if any one would like the program please follow this link. i do not want to deprive RJL software of their software. http://www.rjlsoftware.com/software/utility/open_cd/

I suggest you go to this page reguarding the add users. i personally use the usersaccounts.cmd method. http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/27/ and reguarding the time, go to this page. http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/19/ it shows you how to set up your local time. it also seems that on that same page it shows you how to do the keyboard.

  4. my question is simple. i'm just fine tuning my cd and on my cleanup command it seems it dosn't want to delete the screen savers that windows comes with. i've tried deleting them manually but they just pop back up. is this part of SFC? could i delete them from the source? would that solve my problem?   5. I don't know of a way to do that but if your only 90mb over i suggest you use nLite or or another slim down installer. Also check out http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/57/ you verywell could just delete your language folder. but that page has more advice. i suggest you read that to see if that can help you

I can tell you off the bat that you cannot slipstream WMP11 using nLite without a add on. here's the link to that post further explaining it ('i'm still working on the kinks in my install) http://web.clicknet.ro/boooggy/ Now i've used nLite alot but am no where near a expert however, i did not use nLite to add the drivers. I used the "drivers from the cd" method in the unattended cd found here http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/35/ and as far as the resolution not working in the virtual computer it might not be the drivers not installing. i don't think it works on a virtual computer, i've been building my cd since the beginning of the month and i've yet to see it change the resolution either with the settings from my winnt.sif file or even the video change that is mentioned in the guide http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/v...10/#1365vidchng hope this helps

  10. My driver is signed. should i try to lower it? will try that next when i find out the silent arguments for the numerous non silent installs on my disc almost have my complete unattended windows xp pro install disc

  12. yeah i just caught that as i was going through my code. so i had to end up editing my cmdlines.txt also. i have it add my user account. so my cmdlines.txt is as follows [COMMANDS] "useraccounts.cmd" "RunOnceEx.cmd" i'm running the install right now.

  17. i think i found out where the error is coming from. it has to be one of my installs of my apps. i'm running through the apps individually. but shouldn't they be installed after it logs into windows? not during the installation?

  21. Yes ok well i redid my install disc. this time i didn't add my hotfixes. so far it's working. so it has to be one of the hot fixes. any ideas on how to find out which one without out adding one at a time?
  22. Ok here's the deal. I'm giving up on the unattended install for this cd. I went through all of my cd's i had and found a old Windows Pro sp1 install disc. i'm gonna start using Pro instaed of Home. I'm gonna abandon this topic and prob start another when i come across errors with my unattended pro install disc. however, shouldn't they pretty much be the same? like it dosn't matter which one i was installing? if i have the codes wrong i'll still get the same error right?
  23. OK, i went and took out the .Net hotfixes and redid my image. I'm running it on VMware Player and it currently at the copying files stage. will post back with more info (i.e. if it hangs or etc.)
