Hello I am kasinath, I have installed in my system[(compaq presario SR1630il) 2GB RAM with two 80GB hard disks(Wimdows Xp professional sp3))] Acronis trueimage echo workstaion(9.5.8163) (components(i)management console (ii) Trueimage echo workstaion . Then acronis disk director 10.0.2160. Then acronis trueimage echo workstaion universal restore(9.5.8163). First I made Bootable Rescuemedia builder from the trueimage echo worksation startup menu with all trueimage echo workstation options. The cd booted and safe versions with and with out unversalrestore got loaded with out problem. But the full versions gave only blanck screen. I wen thro acronis forum about this problem and 1)I tried all the option givien in acronis forum at the last by sending my sysinfo file. acronis customer support as send on rescue iso file and I burnt it as cd. Meanwhile I went thro Mr.mudcrab's tutorial for making vistaPE cd. I followed the tutorial and downloaded and installed windows AIK and winbuilder(074) from the links in the tutorial. when I run the winbuilder by first it downloaded the scripts as per the turtorial for vista11 and while I pressed the play button for making the vista iso it started processing then suddenly my system rebooted it self and after loading it gave a error message it system recovered from serous system error. It seems that the system rebooted while processing the script "mounting Waik...". I cound not get any log file also I tried 2 to 3 times the same result. let me know what difference it will make between safe and full version of acronis while backup and restoring the image. Also with acronis bartpeplugin cd made from the installed menu after booting does not show as 'Acronis True image echo workstaion with universal retore' It shows as only acronis true echo work staion. I am intending going for mustang's batpe plugin and echo work staion scripts after getting clear about vistape cd. let me also know any scripts for acronis trueimage echo work station(9.5.0.863) available to add to livexp ,if I could not able to make vistspe cd kasinath

Hello, My system is compaq presario SR1630il. OS-windows XP PRO sp2 At present I am having 512MB RAM. I want to upgrade to 2GB(maximum possible for this model). The product specification Base processor -- pentium 4 519(p) 3.06GHZ,533MHZ front side bus,socket 775 chipset Intel 915GV motherboard -- msi--MS-7174 HP/compaq motherboard graphite-GL8E MEMORY memory installed--256MB(1x256) memory allowed 2.0GB(2x1GB) speed supported -- pc2-3200MB/sec Type--DDR2 SDRAM DIMM slot -TWO open DIMM slot--one so I want to increase the ram capacity to 2GB(2x1GB) The HP tech support people say that I have to purchase two 1GB DDR2 SDRAM 400MHZ. But the local retailers said two 1GB DDR2 SDRAM of 533MHZ or 667MHZ can be used kindly advice me the exact specification for purcaseing the RAM. kasinath.

Hello I am kasinath. I am new to this forum . I am recently encounter following problem. My system is compaq presario sr1630il. OS:- windows xp professional with sp2 memory 512MB RAM I have two hard disks each of 80GB. Each hard disk is partioned 40GB each and formatted as NTFS. First harddisk drives "C" and "E". "C" is system drive.(western digital-WDC WD800JD-60LSA0) second hard disk "D" and "F".(SAMSUNG SPo822N) system has a dvd writer and floppy drive. First hard disk is western digital and second one is samsung. Recently I had a hardware problem (system suddenly freezed after booting).The HP hardware engineer has changed the motherboard and rectified the problem. After this when ever I shutdown(turnoff) and start the system system boots and goes to chkdisk and checks second hard disk dirve "D" comes ok and I could use and access the files in both the drives If I shutdown(restart) the system sytem boots and In MYcomputer "C" and "E" drive of first disk is shown and works normaly. But second hard disk only drive "D" is show and it could not be accessed . kindly explain and guide me solve this problem. kasinath
