  1. great utility, I use it in my recent unattended DVD and work fine! Now I'll try the RunOnceEx script creator and let see what happen... Thanx!
  2. Maybe the following tweak it's not the seventh wonder but it help me and I want to share it. I was having problems with Word and mainly with Excel every time the computer was disconnected from the office network. Every time a single number or text was written to a cell in Excel the computer take forever to show it. I found that Excel is was trying to connect to the network printer (set as default at that time) to, maybe, calculate the layout of the page in the paper (as print preview). First I found that stopping the "Print Spooler" service help to work normally, but by loosing the print preview option (Start-> Control Panel-> Administrative Tools-> Services). The best way I found, and still using, is to set a local printer as default like the "Microsoft Office Document Image Writer" that gets installed by default with windows. Also, you can use the Fax Viewer printer. If don't see it installed go to Start-> Control Panel-> Add/Remove Programs-> Add or Remove Windows components (3er icon in the left panel)-> scroll down and mark "Fax Services" click next and follow the screen prompts. I hope this can be useful to someone, bye!
  3. The stranges of things: I've been trying to use WPI 6.3 in two computers, in one I get the script error message in the other don't. Both are using the same IE version and for the grand finale, the testing computer still shows the error but now the disapered options (Options, Config, Source, etc) are available. why? I can't see a resonable explanation. Anyway, Kelsene here are the screen shots I hope it help: IE version in computer without script error and without menus: IE version in computer with script version, and now with menus: Script error: I will try to configure the wpi and see what happens...
  4. As many in this forum, I'm making an unattended WinXp cd, some windows updates that I consider mandatory are installed by RunOnceEx, but to finish all I want to use WPI v6.3. But, I can't do anything: when start wpi.hta I get an IE script error (line 101, char 2, error 80041002, cod 0), after clicking on yes to continue there are no links to the Options, Config, Show Source, Manual and About WPI. All I get is the background, time counter and three bottons: Begin Install, Selections and Exit. As anyone can see there is no way to add aplications (using the wizard anyway), can some one help me with this!?!?!? Thanx
