I thin this looks like a good site to tell people what you know about PCs and if you are haveing some sort of problems with your PCs,even some people have posted linksa to get updates etc,very handy..I jsut wanted to say helllo lol...hello <Waveing> lol!

Pleezed you got it sorted,wel I know mines is a driver issue as well I doint know where to get tthem I tried windows uipdate and also searched the net,but nope....so I am rather stuck at the moment lol! I was told coz I had vista I have to update my stiuff like my digital camera etc,but I cant see what Ia m supposed to do with my Ipod,I can go inot program files fined the Ituine EXE and right click and I disable the compatibility mode,and that dont work eiher (Ipod still not recognised). Plus i dont really think my USB's are actually working,I want to buy a web cam and some other stuff,buit this prblem is putting me off,because I dont know for sure if they will work as I cant get vista to recognise my camera or Ipod,so whose to say it will recognise a new web cam....or whatever else I buy.

it worked because the usb hub was connected at install, i actuallly didnt try connecting it after installing thats why im not sure. I dont know if this is the same as my problem but I had win XP then I got windows vista,and cant get my USB's to work now,well sounds similar,only difference is its on your lpa top you cant get it to work,IW as going to try qand re instal vista again but it wont work coz I already used that product key,I think this is a stupid idea it is reasonably expensive to buy an operating system so if you have re instal it again you cant unless you get a new product key....completely dumb.

Well my PC was bought in PC world I have asked them and they says I have to download new USB drivers from the microsoft site,but I looked and they arent there,actually I am not sure if windows update is microsoft? I think it is,my PC is a compaq and it says SR1000 onn the label,I am ot sure how to find out what mother board I have but I will try and find out,I really need to get this fixed,mostly for my Ipod and plugging my digital camera in,its a real shame coz I realy like vista it looks good,and if you can help...thanks.

First post on this,just been searching for an answer to my problem with my pc,wellI had XP on my pc and decided to get vista,i was really pleased with it,then I decided ok iw ant to use my digital camera,I tried reinstalling it...wont work,the other problem is I have Itunes,and before it worked fine,but I cant get my Itiunes to recognise my Ipod anymore,so it seem like I cant get the USB's to work,any one know what to do? Well i have been told I have to download new drivers for my USB's,i tried windows update and searched on there and stil cant find what I need,any help would be appreciated very much thanx.
