im not gonna rename all the folders - its better for me to remap important of them with batch file on 98 starts. the information about 12 letters limit is known by me - i wrote about it in the beginning of the topic. Do you think that diskette with network wizzard from xp might help ?

how can i find out these directories by command line ? do i NEED to see them on the other computer's screen and copy its name ?

I have a network consisting of 3 xp's and one 98th users using xps can see all others folders, but 98 user can see just a few folders from each of other users - as far as i know its because of long folder names ?? how can i make those folders visible ? don't want to change names of them because of too many dependencies between those computers. have 98se + se21 + ke0.3 please help ps.greetz to ALL 98 users :D:D
