  2. cluberti, Yes, it does work when i run as admin, disable UAC, and reboot. It even works oncei login and leave it idle. It only stops working when i start using the computer (eg. launching up applications). I guess it must be something running when i log in. Anyway of finding out what it might be? I've already tried to kill all non system processes but it still doesn't work.
  3. cluberti, strange you ask that. i'm having the same problem that my display does not turn off. however, my display does turn off automatically when i'm at the welcome screen (usually when i reboot). once i login and start playing around w/ the computer it then no longer works. i've ran spyware and tried killing all processes and it doesn't help. do you have a fix? PS. I'm running Vista Ultimate x86. okidoki
