  1. I'm referring to the group and user assignment under the folder properties. My username is a memer of the Administrators group and both my ID and the Admin group are listed was having full access. As for UAC, I turned that off almost as soon as Vista was installed
  2. Thanks for the reply, but I have confirmed that I am the owner of the folder and should have the appropriate rights to change such settings. Oddly enough tho, the 'Hidden' box in folder properties remains greyed out
  3. Sorry to bring back such an old post, but I'm having the EXACT same issue as this person was and can't seem to find a workable resolution. System Restore is not an option for me at this point in time. It would appear that the Documents sub-folder is also hidden, very odd indeed. So just to recap, c:\users\username is hidden, c:\users\username\documents is also hidden. All c:\users\username subfolders are not hidden. When I do a right click and select properties, the hidden checkmark is selected and greyed out. Oh, and UAC is turned off Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance.
