just reformatted with uac kept and the file sharing works. it's really weird how just that stupid little thing stops file sharing from working. but oh well. my computers are ready to share now.

I also removed UAC and file sharing doesn't work either. I need it though. Is there a way I can just install that back somehow?

So I needed vista to fit on a cd-r so i removed basically everything. Including WMP since I figured I could just re download it after the install and that would be it. But it won't install. Has anyone had this problem and can tell me how you can get it to install?
