  1. Hi, I use RHEL 4 as DHCP (ISC DHCP 3.0.1) and TFTP (hpa tftp server 0.40) server to support PXE boot to WINPE 2.0 wim images. Everything works fine except one - need to wait for extra 16 seconds after the pxelinux menu is chosen & before boot manager menu appears. By a ethereal session I found that after bootmgr.exe loaded, it tried 8 times sending a DHCP request package to port 4011 (PXE) of the DHCP/TFTP server. These packets have same interval of 2 seconds. Of course server doesn't have a PXE daemon running so the responses are all "ICMP Destination Unreachable (Port Unreachable)" messages. Then it send request to TFTP server to load "/Boot/BCD" file - seems failed to load something then try a default configuration instead. I tried to setup a PXE daemon on the same server but no luck, and can't find a document indicating the cause of such symptom. Wondering if somebody else has seen similar problem before...Thanks in advance.
