I installed successfully Universal Extractor on an USB stick and started it. After having entered Archive name and destination directory I hit "OK". UE starts to scan the *.exe file and then suddenly for a couple of milliseconds a 2nd window (possibly with additional option) appears but vanishes automatically again. UE stops then in the 3rd window where I can choose the Extract method. No matter what I select in this 3rd window the extraction fails. Instead of extraction the *.exe file the installation inside the *.exe file is started. I seems to me that I can only extract the *.exe file if I change some options in the 2nd options dialog window of UniversalExtractor. How can I make UE stopping at this step? Can I run UE from USB stick at all?
