  1. XP logs off instead of shuts down

    ajsy posted a topic in Windows XP
    Hi everyone I have a problem in xp which started a couple of days ago. When I try to restart or shut down my laptop it only logs off. After nearly ripping my hair out I managed to reinstall xp without losing any of my already installed programs hoping that it would solve the problem but it did not. I really dont know what to do now. It will turn off or restart after it has logged off but basically i have to do it all twice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried searching for this problem here on the forum and in google but cant find anything
