Hi! I have just formatted my computer because there was lots of problems with it.But now I am facing one of the problems I had before.My shutdown process takes a long time to execute. What can I do to fix it? When I ask to shutdown my computer it takes forever and when I hit ctrl alt del I cant see windows task manager. Let's say I open Dreamweaver and after finishing working with it I close it.It stays at windows task manager process's list. What is wrong? I have windows xp sp2 english version installed on my computer.I just bought and installed fifa 2006 Portuguese on my computer.Everything works fine but the menu selection's bar keeps moving without I do anything.It is causing me to have problems to choose teams and make other things that require I choose st from a menu. Hi! I've formatted my Hard Drive and re-installed windows xp sp2.I remembered that I needed some files that has been deleted.I know there are some ways to recover those file but I dont know how.Can You guys tell me how to do it and which softwares I need? Thx in advance. Eduardo Tavares

HI! I have an equipament that is called FinalScratch(www.finalscratch.com) and it allows me to play my mp3 files using my turntables. I will explain the procedures I went through to install: 1) I installed the software. 2)I reboot the computer. 3)Connected the USB cable and waited for the recoginition. 4)reboot my computer. 5)I ran the software(FinalScratch Tracktor). I tested the softwre and it was working fine but once I shutdown the computer and turn it on again(another day for example or only if you reboot the computer) it didnt work anymore. I've sent an email for the support of this product and they've sent me an explanation saying that I'd have to follow this steps to fix the problem: Desinstall TRAKTOR FS via the \'Software\' Tool in the Windows Control Panel. - Plug the ScratchAmp into your computer and delete the ScratchAmp A and ScratchAmp B drivers from the Windows Device Manager (\'My Computer\' -> \'Manage\' -> \'Device Manager\' -> Audio, Video, Game Controllers). - Install the newest USB patch (#822603) from the Microsoft website, located at: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...kb;en-us;822603 - Reboot your computer (ScratchAmp not plugged in) - Install TRAKTOR FS and the ScratchAmp driver (still without ScratchAmp) - Reboot your computer (still without ScratchAmp) - Now plug in the ScratchAmp without going over a USB hub and preferably to another USB port than the one previously causing problems please also make shure that it was without any energie 1 min. before. - After the recognition of the hardware by the operating system go to the USB Controller section of the Device Manager (\'My Computer\' -> \'Manage\' -> \'Device Manager\' -> USB Controller) - Two of the listed (Host) controllers are responsible for the ScratchAmp. In the \'Advanced\' tab of their properties you find a checkbox to suppress USB error messages. Please check this box and repeat this operation for the other available USB (Host) controllers. - After this reboot the computer with the ScratchAmp connected please notice that it s strongley recommendet to install also servicepack 1 for win xp Now, I have windows xp sp2 so I dont have to update the USB drivers.I do all the other steps. After I do this it works fine but after about 40 minutes my computer stars to get very slow.IF I hit ctrl alt del the cpu percentage is at 100% and if I change folder inside the software it freezes and I have to reboot my notebook.Imagina I am playing in a club and I have to reboot my notebook? My question is:Please Help me solve this problems.The one avoiding the work of having to reinstall the software everytime I want to use this equipament and the other one of freezing when I use it. thank you very much!

Hi ! I've made an unattended installation of windows xp with SP2.Everything works just fine except that when I start windows it takes at least 3 minutes to load complete. It shows the welcome screen and it freezes there for a couple of minutes then it changes to a blue screen where it stays for more a minute and a half. What should I do?is it normal?

is it possible to make my unattended installation copies the windows setup files to the destination hard drive? How do I do that?

I have Mcafee Internet Security installed on my laptop then I decided to install Norton SystemWorks2003.It also installed NAV and after that my cmoputer is freezing.I cant do nothing I just turn on the computer and its frozen. is there a way to uninstall Norton system works and nav?I tried to uninstall with the cd but my cmputer gets frozen. is there a way to return it to the way it was or I should format it again? thx

Hi! I just bought a laptop HP pavillion zd7000 and I installed its battery and charged it up. The first day when I turned off (after finished charging the battery) the battery light stayed on. Now even if I use my laptop and the battery gets charged I cant turn it on with the battery just with a power supply. and the battery icon alwasy says 88% What should I do?Plz?

First thanks for your help. I am sure the line is working because thats the line I use for my DSL. I've done what the other guys told about using hyperterminal and it does not give a tone signal. Do you think it could be my modem? Power surge is not because I dont keep this phone cable connected all the time like I said I use for my internet. Thanks once again. I am having a problem with my modem. It says No dial tone. but everything is connected correctly. I've done everything I know but since I dont know too much... There is no problem at the Device Manager(no exclamation mark). The modem's properties says it is running good. Can Anyone give some advice about this problem? Thank You
