  1. My friend gave me a desktop with Windows 98 on it, and it had a networking account on it I never used. It popped up before Windows loaded fully, and I could easily click "cancel", and Windows would continue with startup. Recently, I upgraded to Windows 2000 Professional, and therein lies my problem. Now I need a password to login to Windows, and neither my friend or I know the password, so, no Windows for me. I have a Windows 2000 install disk, but when I put it in, the computer ignores it. I don't know of a way to access it. Is there any other way I can login to Windows? This is a secondary computer, so I wouldn't mind using MS-DOS to format the hard disk and reinstall windows with the CD I have. I have no experience with that, and I have no idea how. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
