this is fantastic, group policy was my issue as well and fixed it right away. You don't need to explicitly open up your firewall for port 123 since most firewalls are smart enough to let in traffic that have been sent out on the originating port. All my reg settings were right except that they did not take precedence since group policy was enforcing something different. thanks to all that helped. -Isaac
