  1. Just looking up to see if anyone had yet found a workaround for the ms tools, but no luck with that it seems. I'm using sendtotoys at home, though at work it's better to have an ms tool. Sendtotoy is on v2.4 now. Also adding that sendtoys works great at home.
  2. Here's some extra info: SendToToys uses the Inno Setup. Command line options can be found here for Inno setup (not all switches apply). It is at: http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/setup.html This is looking groovier by the minute. I haven't actively used these toys yet so I'll update if I have any issues.
  3. I've been having no luck at all with getting microsoft's sendtox to install despite reading the stuff on here. The regular install pops up a window that you have to manually close. On my searches I found a Sendto Powertoy alternative called "Send To Toys" (on v2.21) at http://gabrieleponti.com/software/ I have yet to test it, but you guys may want to give it a try. I e-mailed gabrielle and he even told me that you can do a silent install with indicator using: *** Correction *** To do a proper silent install: sendtotoys.exe /sp- /verysilent
  4. I use the sendtox found in win95 powertoys and downloaded from Microsoft. http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloa...set/default.asp
  5. In the sendtox inf originally it is: HKLM,Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\Setup,%ISTX%,,"RUNDLL32.EXE %11%\%SubDir%\SENDTOX.DLL,Install %11%\%SubDir%\SENDTOX.INF" the %ISTX% bit opens a window which you have to manually close (no good for unattended). I managed to get this working at some point, but now icons are not installed in sendto folder. I changed the AddReg bit to the following: "RUNDLL32.EXE %11%\%SubDir%\SENDTOX.DLL,Install %11%\%SubDir%\SENDTOX.INF" Please could someone post the full syntax for sendtox exactly as it should be? I assume what has been given so far is to go in batch file rather than "inf file". Thanks.
