  1. Well you will have to make some rules in the Netgear's firewall and NAT settings. You will have to create a NAT rule pointing the Public IP of the website to the internal address. In the firewall you will want to block all incoming traffic except for the ports below. 80 - HTTP 443 - HTTPS 53 - DNS That should do it. I am still new to this so you might want to get a second opinion! Hope i helped though.
  2. Hello i am in my first systems admin position, and i have been assigned the task of building a new domain, adding exchange and a few other things. I know that i can handle all of this but i figured why not get some suggestions from some people who have more experience then myself. Also, i have maintained domains for quite sometime, but this is the first time ill be building one on my own. Here is the setup: 2 servers that will be DCs in the office, 2 Servers at a co-location, one is to be a DC the other Exchange. All servers will be running Windows Server 2003 and our mail server will be Exchange 2007. There is a constant VPN connection to the co-location with very fast connections on both sides. Right now we have about 30 users, which could double in the next 18 months, so I am looking to create a setup that can grow with us. If it is possible i would like it to be the same domain, when Exchange is rolled out i want to deploy a Barracuda Spam Filter and its LDAP features. In my past experience the Barracuda could only poll one LDAP server. Also, no one will be logging directly into the DC in the co-location, it is only a server farm. But i would like the DC in the farm to replicate with the DCs in our office. I have done a bunch of research on this and can not find the answers i am looking for. My boss has already explained to me that he would not like to buy anymore servers and would appreciate if i can do this with current hardware available. The servers are all less then 2 years old, Dell Poweredge servers with dual Xeon 3ghz with at least 2.5 gigs of memory up to 4 gigs. All suggestions and help with this is appreciated! Thanks in advanced.
