#radix: glad to see it's mostly working. The shortcuts are created using vbscript, not any easier or harder than inf, the problem is getting the uninstaller (mozilla) to delete them. I will look closely at exactly which (paths) shortcuts are being created.

Try it again, I can't get the same error. It is hard for me to use the hebrew version of windows. But, I am working through it. Also, as of yet. I can not create the 'Pinned' shortcuts in Hebrew, yet. I will need to get the language pack mui file and find the needed strings. Even then, I do not know that I can create them. I'll try.

@radix: One last thing before posting the update. I can't get the Start Menu\Programs shortcut to delete. All others are being deleted properly. So, more reading.

Changelog notes that WGA\OGA may not work. I will remove it, if I can find a post that verifies that. I will look into the shortcuts, they are working properly for me. @EDEN2010: That means you have cscript installed, it runs the hta. Try this FFaM.hta, replace your current copy and run this. Let me know if any difference.

@EDEN2010: We'll have to step through this one line at a time. First, do you have admin privileges? From a command prompt type "cscript /?" without the quotes, what is the result? Where are you running this from, folder location, ie "C:\", the desktop? If, these do not turn out to be the problem, I'll write some temp hta's to determine the problem. I am just about to leave for work. I can do some basic stuff while there. It would be better to continue this via MSN Live or gmail chat. You choose, PM me for the details. As soon as I get a minute, I'll give you a link to try. First, is the error immediate? Do you see the splash screen? Anything?

I think I know what the problem is. What language is your OS in? Also, try extracting with WinRar and run the file named FFaM.hta.

I just verified the integrity of the posted file. I would ask that you download b2 and verify the hash. BTW, what was the error?

I am willing to add any plugins for Firefox, so long as someone is willing to maintain the plugins and provide a direct link to download and a web page or text file that shows the current versions that are posted. *EDIT* Dropbox.com is a good place to host these files.

Update Posted v0.714 I found a couple of bugs that occur on non-english installs of Firefox. Also, I have removed the Adobe Flash installer and Adobe Shockwave Installer. Since, they can be downloaded directly from Adobe. Once downloaded, they are stored in the Files folder along with the Firefox installers, so they can be re-used if they still exist. Firefox 3.6 has made a security change to their plugins and components folders. NO files other than those shipped with Firefox will be allowed to run from within the components folder. So, if you use Firefox 3.6 and beyond, WGA and OGA, RealPlayer and RealPlayer Alternative, Quicktime and Quicktime Alternative are affected. WGA and OGA will not work as shipped by M$. The others may work if they are properly installed. v0.714 - 12-26-09 -changed script for checking version for saved file -removed pluginreg.dat from files watched - it has hard coded paths and is included with plugins. it is created on first run -fixed copies compreg.dat(automatically regenerated as needed), found some systems have copy in the compoments folder -changed installation order, moved shockwave and flash before setting firefox as default and creation of profile -added dynamic creation of plugins.txt file for future releases of Firefox, where the contents may differ -discovered reason for some plugins not working properly with 3.6 (http://lwn.net/Articles/363568/) - this may be backported to 3.5 -for now, any plugin that installs file into the components folder do not work in 3.6.
