  1. Should the nLite program be able to recognise my OEM disk. So far I keep getting the error the i386 folder is not present and that I can not use a local file system when I'm actually trying to copy straight from the CD in the drive. Has anyone else used nLite and an OEM disk or more specifically an OEM windows 2003 server R2 disk. Cheers
  2. Thank you for your reply Hot Rod I will have a look at doing that. I won't get a chance until Monday to have another crack at this. So I will be in touch when I do.
  3. EDIT: thank you for your reply. The SP2 is actually on a separate CD that is install afterwards. Windows Server 2003 R2 is installed with the files listed first. Then you update it with the next CD after installing the OS first. So there is no "WIN51IA.SP2" anywhere on my OEM disk. Does it matter that it is an OEM disk?
  4. G'day I have just installed nLite to hopefully install the nvRaid drivers as shown here http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=51140 and I'm have a hell of a time even getting nLite to recoginise my CD. So I want to outline my steps to see if I'm missing anything. Copy every thing from my Windows Server 2003 R2 oem version CD (i.e. System builders version0) to c:\working\xp_cd Then run nLite click next at the first screen> enter c:\working\xp_cd into the location area and press enter!! Then I get the error I have seen here on these forums: 'Make sure that the selected folder or drive contains the 'i386' blah blah blah' this is whats in my c:\working\xp_cd Directory of C:\working\xp_cd 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> . 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> .. 2005-11-28 22:00 43 AUTORUN.INF 2007-08-29 18:43 <DIR> DOCS 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> I386 2005-11-28 22:00 54,033 LANGINST.INF 2005-11-28 22:00 197,120 OPK.MSI 2005-11-28 22:00 23,419 README.TXT 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> SAMPLES 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> SBSI 2005-11-28 22:00 233,472 SETUP.EXE 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> TOOLS 2005-11-28 22:00 10 WIN51 2005-11-28 22:00 10 WIN51IA 2005-11-28 22:00 10 WIN51IA.SP1 2005-11-28 22:00 167 WINBOM.INI 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> WINPE 2007-08-29 18:44 <DIR> WIZARD 9 File(s) 508,284 bytes 9 Dir(s) 151,769,649,152 bytes free Please help me!!! deepwater
